OUR LAST MEETING
Lion Kirk Kirkpatrick introduced last week\rquote s speaker, the new District Judge for Johnson County, Judge Bill Bosworth. Judge Bosworth told the group that his office is now set up and operating. He discussed the operation of his office. There are 4500 cases on the docket.
Guests last week included Brenda Apela, guest of Lion Bill Rice; Charles Delisi, guest of Lion Doran Deapen; and Susie Case and Jackie Tidwell, guests of Lion Ron Layland.

NOTES FROM DECEMBER BOARD MEETING
The Board of Directors met Friday December 5. Following were some of the items included on the agenda: Schedule for the Christmas Parade, Committee assignments, the Club Web Page, the Gospel/Bluegrass Concert, bills for eyeglasses, the pickup raffle, poster contest to be judged next week, public speaking and essay contests, the new Leo Club, donations to Troopers Who Care, Christmas party at Steve Edward's, schedule of activities on our web site, bulletin on web site, and schedule of activities on back of bulletin.
REGISTRATION FOR MID-WINTER CONFERENCE
Registration for the District 2-E2 District Conference is $5.00 and should be sent in by December 15. After December 15, the cost of the Friday night dinner will go from $15.00 to $20.00; the Saturday luncheon will go from $12.00 to $17.00; and the cost of the Governor's banquet will go from $23.00 to $28.00. Registration forms can be printed off the District's web page. The Conference will be held January 23-24 at the Doral Tesoro Hotel at the Texas Motor Speedway between Fort Worth and Denton on I-35W. Our Club will have entries in the Poster and Public Speaking Contests.
CLUB BULLETIN "ON-LINE"
Lion Phil Hawker is working to put our Club Bulletin on our Web site. Last week's bulletin should be on the site by now. We will try to post the Bulletin on the Web site each week from now on.
